A Piece Of Amy's World

Wow! I don't know what it is, but everything decided to happen in May and June!! Busy and Fun!!! Don't I look spiffy in my scout uniform? The Scouters I am with were my instructors and course-mates at a training I attended. They were awesome!! For a week I had to attend National Camping School for the Boy Scouts of America where I was trained according to the National BSA Standards to do my job at camp, effectively and properly. It was intense and really FUN!!! Scott attended last year to become certified as a Climbing Instructor for BSA. The cert. lasts for 5 years.

Next I went on a fabulous 4 day cruise with my two awesome girlfriends. It is our 10 year H.S. reunion, so we decided to go on a cruise together and bag the reunion. It took about two years of planning. We went for 4 days to KeyWest, FL. and Cozumel, MX. What a blast!!!

A Piece Of Scott's World

Scott has been the most wonderful husband in the world as I have went off to scout camp training and on my cruise! He spent some great time with the kids, as Mr. Mom, when I was gone. He has also been working hard at SkyWest so we can fly to St. George and other exotic places for free.

He has been preparing for scout camp as well, making sure all the requirements are met to run a safe and fun High Adventure program for the scouts at camp. He will be working pretty heavily on the cliffs with the scouts, climbing and rapelling. Lucky!!!

A Piece of the Kid's World

Here is fun Aunt Sara dressing up with Hana and Conrad!!! Me and the kids have traveled to St. George the last two weekends to hang with my family. The weekend of June 8th was the see Cami in her fabulous dance performance as one of the lead dancers. The weekend of the June 15th was to see Brad and Kendall's brand new baby girl, Kailyn, born on June 13th - on Jeff's 12th birthday!! Marie and Jordan (my mom's sister and her husband) were there with their kids!! We loved hanging out with them too.

June 26, 2010: Hana and Conrad doing silly sarcastic threats to eachother in the car: Hana: "Do you want me to give you a hair cut?"... Conrad: "Do you want me to give you a hair extention?" (how he thought of that, I do not know. Haha) :)
July 20, 2009: I asked Conrad to go downstairs and tell Scott and Hana that dinner is ready. Scott said when Conrad went down the following conversation happened... Conrad,"Dad dinner is ready!" Scott, "Who says?" Conrad, "Mom." Scott, "My mom said dinner's ready?" Conrad laughs, "No! My mom! Your babe!" (hilarious)
May 2, 2009: Just hangin' out at home... Conrad says, "Hey I just heard Hana." (she was playing in the other room) Scott says, "Who's Hana?" Conrad replies, "My sister." Scott asks, "Your sister? What does she look like?" Conrad responds,"She has a round head. And arms." Scott laughs. --- What a cutie!
December 27, 2008: Scott started brushing Conrad's teeth, and Conrad stopped him and said "It's too hot." Clever Scott blew on the toothbrush a couple times and started brushing Conrad's teeth again. Scott asked Conrad,"Is that better now?" Conrad knodded with approval. :)
Nov 9th, 2008: Hana and Conrad having a great time tonight, together in the tub . . . while Scott was in the bathroom with them Hana turned to Conrad and asked him, "Conrad, what is picky and says 'ouch'?" Then she pinches Conrad and he says "Ouch!" Then both kids and Scott start laughing! Ha ha ha! She is hilarious - Hana said that she got it from the movie 'Mr. Magorium's Wonder Imporium'.
Nov 6th, 2008: Conrad and I looking at the snow, out the front window of our house . . . Conrad turns to me, "You thinking what I'm thinking?" I laugh, "No buddy, what are you thinking?" Conrad with a thoughful look, "To fly . . . like a bird." I say "Oh yeah, me too!" Conrad, "Like a pink bird?" Me, "Yeah, what are you?" Conrad, "A blue bird. A fast one!" Me, "Cool!" Then we continue looking out the window. Awesome! :)
Sept 25, 2008: Scott took Hana and Conrad to the local aquarium and they were looking in the jelly fish tank. A little boy was also standing with them. They were all talking to each other about how they could see the jelly fish better. Conrad said, "Maybe we can use a Mouse-k-tool!?" (which is the solution to solving the situations in Mickey Mouse Club House cartoon) Cutie!
Sept 25, 2008: Scott said to Conrad, "You are a rag muffin." Conrad's response, "No I'm not! I'm a rock climber!"
Sept 18, 2008: Conrad has been doing so well with potty training and when he goes in the toilet we always say "I am so proud of you! Good job!" So lately if he is in the bathroom with Scott or I - or its the best in a public bathroom - Conrad says "Mom (or Dad), you peed! I am so pwoud of you!"
Sept 18, 2008: Conrad: "Mom, you aw da best!" :) SO sweet! I loved it of course!
Sept 15, 2008: When ever Hana wants to respond silly when she is surprised by what Scott or I say, she says (with a hick accent) "Mama, say what?" or "Papa" depending on who it is. I hear its a quote from Hannah Montana :)
Sept 5, 2008: Hana loves to draw and we always say how amazing her pictures are. Today Conrad saw Hana's picture and gave her a big hug and said "Hana, you aw amazeen!" It was so cute!
August 27, 2008: Today I left to kids in the car for a minute to run in and get Hana's backpack. Before I went in Hana said the following: "Mom, my backpack is in my room. (then she started giggling) My room is in our house. Our house is on the grass. The grass is on the earth. (Both of us laughing now) The earth is in space. Space is where God is. And God is everywhere." At that moment I was in such Awe of my 5 1/2 yr old daughter, I had no words. We just laughed together. :)
August 8, 2008: Hana saw a picture of the prince from the "Enchanted" movie and suddenly lowering her voice, she broke into song . . . "I've been dreaming of my true love's kiss . . ." and then burst into laughter as she finished the line! Hilarious! It was so cute!
August 3, 2008: I said. "Conrad, you're a weirdo." Conrad puts his lip down, and says, "No I'm not. I'm Playdough." Then he smiled and we both started laughing so hard!
