No worries . . . She's got it handled. . . .

. . . Hana started Kindergarten August 25th and September 2nd. She is in two Kindergarten programs - I can explain later why we decided that. She LOVES it!

First day at CCS (morning) Kindergarten
First Day at Arcadia Elementary (afternoon) Kindergarten.

August 25th she started her morning program at her old pre-school, which is a private K-8 school as well. September 2nd she started her afternoon program as well, which is at our neighborhood elementary school. She has made some fun friends at both classes and she gets so excited about her busy day. And Scott and I a wiping our brow's saying, "phew, this actually worked out better than we ever could have imagined!"

So the day goes as follows . . .

8am: wake up Hana (unless she wakes up earlier with excitement)
- breakfast and get ready
8:55am: drop her off at CCS Kindergarten
- watch her walk in like a woman all about business :)
11:59am: pick her up
- have a lunch ready for her to eat in the car
- talk about her morning at CCS as we drive
- arrive at Arcadia Elementary School and finish lunch in car
12:17pm: walk her to the flag pole at Arcadia
- kiss her goodbye
- watch her line up with excitement
12:20pm wave goodbye as she walks in to school with class
2:50pm meet Scott at work
- pick him up, and drive him to his car at the employee prkg lot
- give him a sleeping Conrad
- I head to work, Scott heads toward home
3:20pm Scott arrives at Arcadia to pick up Hana
- who is waiting with her class on the side of the school

Wow! Busy day! And Hana is loving it! It is so fun to watch her have it all together and be so excited. It helps comfort me during the times that I have little breakdowns wondering if we did the right thing. But it has, so far, proved to be great for our little Hana.

The inbetween time, while Hana is at school, is Mommy-Conrad time. I absolutely LOVE it! He seems to be the one having the hardest time - missing his Big Sis. He absolutely adores her. We have fun at home and going to storytimes at B&N and the Library.

Conrad is also working on potty training too! He's doing so great with it! I think he has it down. He loves his big boy underwear! :)
